WOLFGANG MOZART.A GENIUS WHO WROTE HIS NAME IN THE HISTORY OF MUSIC.Mozart was a musical maestro who had his own unique style of composing music and presenting to the world.
He was born on 27 Jan 1756 in Salzburg, Austria to Leopold Mozart, a business-minded composer, violinist and an assistant concertmaster at the Salzburg and Anna Maria Pertl.
Being born and brought up in a family where music was in air, in life and in dreams of everyone, Mozart was naturally attracted towards music. From his childhood, Mozart learned and developed immense interest in music.
Mozart's innate ability as a musician became increasingly apparent as he grew older. He was gifted with ''perfect pitch''. This meant that without the aid of a musical instrument or pitch pipe, he could sing any note on command. Other natural musical abilities were equally as compelling. For instance, it was not uncommon for the boy to pick up an instrument and play it without a single lesson. The violin and clarinet were among his favourites.
Mozart's concert tours were nothing short of brilliant. He soon left Austria and performed in other European countries. Mozart's older sister Nannerl often traveled with him, singing as he played. They traveled to Munich, Paris and London. In London, they performed for the King and Queen of England. When Mozart was 13, he traveled to Rome. The Pope conferred knighthood on the boy as a tribute to his genius.
As the age of 25, Mozart married and settled in his homeland, Austria. He gained a reasonable popularity by publishing some beautiful sonatas, music compositions and by performing in concerts and Operas. Mozart earned enough to live a comfortable life, but beacause of his improper management of money and expenses, he was never able to save money for future and always had to borrow from others when was in need of money.
Mozart spent rest of his life in Vienna, during this period he also visited various places such as Salzburg and Berlin to perform in operas, dramas and concerts. Mozart died on 5 Dec 1791 in Vienna.
Mozart composed hundreds of beautiful and unique music works which include over 20 operas, about 14-15 Masses, 30-40 concerts (piano and violin), 50-60 symphonies, and 20 sonatas. Evern after his death, Mozart remained and will remain one of the most favourite musiccians for millions of his fans
